Fitness Tips for Healthy Summer

It summer time folks. Get ready for summer fitness you were waiting for, planning for your workout routine. Following are some fitness tips to enjoy your healthy summer.

Stay Hydrated

Keeping yourself hydrated is important and because it is summeryou have to drink twice as your body consumes it in form of sweat. Water cleanses your body and allows it to function properly. Drink plenty of water, it is recommended to consume at least two liters of water daily (8 glasses). If you do intense workout drink it is recommended to drink 16 ounces of water (2 cups) every 30 minutes before, during and after exercise.

Get out door

If you have a clean environment around your neighborhood, go outside for a run. Start from a slow jog and increase it as you go. If you feel tiredness take a 5 min break and then start again. It is recommended to walk for 2 miles a day in order to keep you fit and healthy.

If you don’t have a space around your neighborhood, don’t worry you can use stairs in your house. Run through stairs and make it a set of 5. Take break if are tired and start again. It is a good alternative of hiking.

Follow an exercise routine

If you are really concerned about your fitness you won’t miss your exercise routine. You will make a workout routine and stick to it. Don’t make any lame excuse and don’t skip a workout. A workout program will keep you focused and allow you to achieve small term goals. Tracking a progress will also allow you to assess what is working and what is not.

Be patient

If you took the winter off, don’t expect to reach your goals in a week or two. It is important to enjoy the summer while appreciating the efforts that you’re making. Keep focusing on what you want to accomplish daily in your daily routine and the results will follow. Getting fit takes time and with commitment, you will reach your goals.

Have fun

Summer is all about fun and making good memories. Be happy enjoyyour workouts and be sincere to yourself. You are exercising for yourself, to keep you fit not only from outside but also from the inside. It does not matter how you look from the outside. So relax and enjoy your activities.
