Eat Healthy to Stay Healthy!

Being fit and having a healthy mind with a healthy body is indeed a tremendous blessing. It is a healthy mind and body which helps you to achieve anything in this world. To enjoy these blessings one should be very circumspect about ones eating habits. Unfortunately not many of us really care about their eating pattern. Or should I say, people take their health for granted.

What to Eat?

When we talk about enjoying a good health while taking care of your eating habits, the question arises, what to eat? Well! Primarily the focus shall always be on eating clean and low cholesterol food. Maintaining the balance of good and bad cholesterol is exceptionally important for good health and heart. Clean eating is the first and foremost thing to enjoy a perfect healthy lifestyle.

Sweet Potatoes are Love!

Sweet potatoes are excellent choice of food. I always try to integrate them in my weekly diet plan. Roasting sweet potatoes is one of the easiest tasks. All you need is to chop up two or three medium sized sweet potatoes and then put them into a little olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano and chipotle chili powder. Roast these for about 25-30 minutes and get ready to be surprised. I am sure that you are going to love this.

Enjoy Pancakes or Waffles


Ingredients:
1/3 cup of oats ground into oat flour

1 Tbsp of coconut flour

2 Tbsp of cottage cheese

6 Tbsp of Egg whites

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp of vanilla

1/4 tsp butter extract

1/2 Tbsp of psyllium husk (optional)

2 Tbsp Almond milk

 

Directions:

Put all ingredients together in a blender and give them a good shake! Let the batter sit for a few minutes then use it to make pancakes or waffles, choice is all yours! I top mine with chocolate sauce, peanut butter, and banana. But, you can make use whatever you like.
