When to Begin:
The majority women say that diet is the quickest method to drop weight after delivery, experts say a dramatic cut in calories is not the ideal method to start - mainly if you are breastfeeding. “You can’t produce quality milk if you are not eating enough,” says nutritionist Elizabeth author of Nutrition for a healthy pregnancy.
Meal Plan:
- Don’t omit meals. With a new baby, numerous new moms put out of mind to eat. If you don’t eat, you will have not as much of energy — and it won’t help you lose weight.
- Eat 5 - 6 minute meals a day with healthy food and drink in between (rather than three larger meals).
- Eat breakfast. Even if you don’t generally eat in the mornings, get into the pattern of having breakfast. It will give you energy to start your day and facilitate you keep from feeling tired later.
Be Realistic:
You will not be able to return to your exact pre-pregnancy weight or shape. For many women, pregnancy causes changes in the body that stay. You may have a softer belly, wider hips, and a larger waistline. Make your goals about your new body realistic.
Exercise:
A healthy diet united with habitual exercise is the best method to get rid of the pounds. Exercise will help you lose fat instead of muscle.
