Migraine attacks may also be triggered by:

  • Caffeine withdrawal.
  • Changes in hormone levels during a woman’s menstrual cycle or with the use of birth control pills.
  • Changes in sleep patterns.
  • Exercise or other physical stress.
  • Missed meals.
  • Smoking or exposure to smoke.

  • Baked goods, chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, and dairy products.

  • Papules: visible on the surface of the skin. They are small bumps, usually pink. This type of pimple may be sensitive to the touch. Picking or squeezing can make the inflammation worse and may lead to scarring.
  • Pustules: clearly visible on the surface of the skin. They are red at their base and have pus on the top. The bump is typically filled with white or yellow pus. Avoid picking or squeezing pustules. Picking can cause scars or dark spots to develop on the skin.
