Beachbody® programs combine challenging DVD-based workouts with easy-to-follow diet guidelines, nutritional supplements (including its breakthrough health shake called Shakeology®, (“The Healthiest Meal of the Day®”) and the clinically proven 21-day cleanse known as the Ultimate Reset®, and an unparalleled customer service and peer-support system.
Body FX:
Body FX got its start as a cutting edge fitness company in San Diego, California, under the direction of fitness and media expert, James Kunitz. Body FX has quickly become a fierce worldwide competitor in the DVD and fitness industry. Driven by the desire to help the public achieve individual success, this strong team produces relevant and innovative media for today’s consumer. Kunitz has produced hit product DVD’s including JNL Fusion, Core Rhythms, Figure 8 Fitness, Rhythm Rocker, AB Circle and many more, making an unforgettable impact on the health and fitness scene.
Beachbody vs. Body FX:
Both companies are quite similar in the following ways:
- Both Beachbody and Body FX sell home workout DVDs.
- Both Beachbody and Body FX have their own line of supplements.
- Both Beachbody and Body FX have celebrity trainers.
- Both Beachbody and Body FX have a MLM component, including the ‘coach’ program.
Where do the leads come from – Beachbody vs. Body FX?
Both companies spend thousands if not millions each year in advertising via TV infomercials and magazines, generating thousands of sales each month for these companies. These new customers are then dispersed among their respective distributors.
These distributor opportunities are available to retail customers where they can become ‘coaches’ and are given the right to promote and sell products for a commission. These distributors essentially become another form of advertising for the company. Each distributor program includes bonuses, points and other perks to motivate the coaches to sell more products.
Beachbody Leads Program:
Infomercial customers who say “Yes!” to either joining the Team Beachbody Club™ or to a free TeamBeachbody.com membership are then passed to Team Beachbody. A customer account is created for them and they are assigned to a qualified Emerald or higher-ranking Coach.
In order to qualify for these leads, you must meet the following requirements:
- Emerald Coach or higher.
- Active coach (50 PV points per month from retail sales or own purchases).
- Be a Club Member.
- Have posted a completed profile page with at least a “before” photo and bio.
Emerald coach means you have a personally sponsored coach on your right leg and one on your left leg, and both of those coaches must be active with 50 PV points per month.
These leads have not purchased anything; they just want to get the free Team Beachbody membership. It’s up to the coach to follow up with them and build that relationship and ultimately help them find the right products that will fit their needs.
Any sales made by these leads will provide commissions to their assigned coach.
Body FX Leads Program:
Body FX will also be doing lots of TV infomercials but they don’t have a free membership type system like Team Beachbody, so the leads are only generated from buying customers. So how does a Body FX coach qualify for leads; they must:
- Active coach – Maintain 50 BV points per month (from retail sales or their own purchases).
